We’re growing again! Join Commly as a PR & Media Relations Senior Manager

Things at Commly are moving fast, and we’re ready to add another experienced person to our team. This time, we’re looking for someone who genuinely knows their way around the media.

Writing a strong press release matters. Knowing whether there’s a story in the first place matters even more. You understand what journalists and newsrooms actually need, can spot a great angle and know how to turn it into a story worth covering. Just as importantly, you build media relationships based on trust, relevance and mutual respect.

At Commly, we work mainly with ambitious startups, technology companies, VC funds and brands that are genuinely changing their industries. We help them build visibility and credibility through strategic PR, media relations and thought leadership in Poland and beyond.

You’ll independently lead part of our client portfolio and take ownership of its media relations. That’s why we’re looking for someone with PR agency experience, strong relationships with journalists and the confidence to match the right story with the right publication.

What will you be doing? 👀

📌 Independently leading PR projects and managing day-to-day client relationships.

📌 Building and developing relationships with business, technology and industry media.

📌 Expanding our relationships with international media across Europe and the US.

📌 Proactively finding stories, data and expert insights that can turn into media coverage journalists actually want to publish.

📌 Writing press releases, media pitches, contributed articles, expert comments and other communication materials.

📌 Advising clients and translating their business goals into concrete PR activities.

📌 Planning communication and taking responsibility for the quality, deadlines and results of your projects.

📌 Coordinating the work of other people involved in project delivery.

Who are we looking for? These are our must-haves 🕵️

👉 You have at least four years of experience in PR, including experience working at a PR agency.

👉 Media relations is one of your strongest skills. You have active relationships with journalists and know that effective PR is about much more than sending the same email to 200 inboxes.

👉 You can share recent examples of media coverage secured through your ideas, pitches and relationships with journalists.

👉 You have strong news sense. You can tell what might genuinely interest the media and find the right context, data and angle to turn it into a compelling story.

👉 You know how to uncover valuable topics in a team’s expertise, company data and changes happening across the market.

👉 You can independently lead projects and act as a partner and advisor to clients, rather than simply execute tasks.

👉 You’re an excellent Polish-language writer and know how to adapt the narrative to a specific publication, audience and communication goal.

👉 You communicate confidently in English, both spoken and written.

👉 You can manage several projects at once, set priorities and take responsibility for the final result.

Experience working with international media and leading communication in other markets will be a big plus.

What do we offer? 🚀

🤝 B2B cooperation with monthly compensation of PLN 10,000–13,000 net + VAT. The final amount will depend on your experience, media relationships and level of independence.

💰 Regular bonuses linked to agreed goals and Commly’s overall performance.

🕒 Remote work and the freedom to organise your day around meetings, deadlines and project priorities.

📈 A real influence on how we run projects, develop our client work and shape the future of Commly.

🚀 The opportunity to work with technology companies, startups, VC funds and growing brands from Poland and abroad.

🤝 A small team, fast decisions, open communication and no unnecessary hierarchy.

Sounds like your kind of challenge? 📩

Send your CV to team@commly.io

Please also include three to five examples of media coverage from the past 12 months that resulted from your initiative or where you played an important role. Add a short note explaining what you were responsible for in each case.

There’s no need to write a lengthy cover letter. We’re much more interested in your experience, how you work with the media and why you’d like to join Commly.

Let’s make some good noise together! 💙
