September in the headlines. Commly clients in European media

A growing business does not always need another announcement. Sometimes it needs to explain a market shift, show how its technology solves a real problem, or bring an investor’s perspective into a wider conversation. September brought all three. At Commly, we help startups, technology companies and venture capital funds build visibility in Poland and across Europe. Here are eight selected publications from our work with clients - covering energy infrastructure, financial automation, Beauty Tech, cross-border commerce and more.

Montis VC in EU-Startups. Europe’s energy opportunity goes beyond generation

Europe can build more renewable energy capacity, but connecting it remains a challenge. In his op-ed for EU-Startups, a publication covering Europe’s startup and investment ecosystem, Michał Gawęda from Montis VC explored the opportunities emerging around electricity grids. From better network planning to flexible demand and technologies that unlock existing capacity, the investment question is practical. Which solutions can reduce delays, lower costs and help infrastructure work harder?

Montis VC also contributed to EU-Startups’ coverage of a report by SET Ventures and Future Energy Ventures on robotics in energy infrastructure. Autonomous inspections, asset monitoring and predictive maintenance could create opportunities for European startups. Michał’s commentary focused on what makes these technologies investable - measurable benefits for operators, integration with existing systems and the ability to scale beyond individual pilots. Both publications form part of our ongoing media relations and expert positioning work for Montis VC.

ZEME in Portal Spożywczy. Making deposit returns work for online grocery

Returning bottles and cans should not require a separate shopping trip. Portal Spożywczy, a specialist food and retail publication, covered Frisco’s deposit-return service and its cooperation with ZEME. Behind the convenience of handing packaging to a delivery driver sits a reverse-logistics operation. ZEME handles onward transport from Frisco’s hubs and uses its ZEME 180 application to provide additional volume tracking. It is a practical example of how technology and logistics support the circular economy without adding friction for customers.

Huge Thing and Douglas in dlaHandlu. Beauty growth meets Beauty Tech

What is driving beauty spending - more customers, more frequent purchases or higher-value transactions? dlaHandlu, a retail-sector publication, covered findings from Huge Thing’s Trends in Beauty Industry report, developed with Douglas Polska. The report connects changing consumer behaviour with opportunities in AI-powered personalisation, digital skin diagnostics and scientifically validated products. For beauty brands, retailers and Beauty Tech startups, the direction is clear - technology needs to help customers make better choices and deliver measurable value, not simply add another feature to the shopping experience.

Autofixer in Executive Magazine. Automotive e-commerce crosses borders

A warehouse in Poland can serve customers across Europe. The harder part is making product data, compatibility checks, pricing and localisation work across markets. In Executive Magazine, a business publication, Autofixer’s Szymon Jezierski explained how technology can help automotive parts distributors reach international buyers without building a separate local operation in every country. The article brings cross-border e-commerce into a sector where accurate catalogues and finding the right part are essential to the buying decision.

HR Contact in Gazeta.pl. The skills employers will need in 2027

The most valuable professional profile may no longer fit neatly into one discipline. Gazeta.pl picked up HR Contact’s commentary on recruitment trends for 2027, highlighting demand for people who combine technology, finance and regulatory knowledge. The discussion covered hybrid skills, compliance and continuous learning. For HR Contact, this is expert positioning grounded in a question that matters to both employers and candidates - how to prepare for a changing labour market.

NovaLend in Forsal. Winning a contract does not close the cash-flow gap

A new client can bring growth and an immediate financing problem. Forsal, a Polish business and finance publication, featured NovaLend’s perspective on the working-capital pressures facing creative agencies. Production, media and subcontractor costs often arrive before the client’s payment. The article explained why a healthy order book does not automatically mean healthy cash flow - and why access to business financing matters when agencies take on larger projects.

PR that builds credibility in business and visibility in AI search

At Commly, our PR and media relations work connects communication with business goals - reaching customers and investors, supporting fundraising and building credibility in new markets. Our background in venture capital and startups helps us understand the technology, commercial priorities and investment logic behind each story. Our published client recommendations consistently highlight strategic thinking, close collaboration and results, including visibility across Polish and international media.

Organic, earned coverage in top-tier business titles and relevant specialist media also creates independent sources explaining what a company does and why its expertise matters. We see this as an important part of building visibility beyond traditional search, including in ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools when they retrieve information from the web. Clear, accessible reporting gives these systems potential sources to discover and cite; it does not guarantee inclusion or recommendations. The foundation remains the same - useful expertise, credible evidence and consistent communication.
